To enable home sharing on the iPad; Go to the Settings App. Select iPod. Enter the same Apple ID and password you used to enable home sharing on your computers. Now home sharing is active on your iPad, you can open the Video App, select “Shared” and stream rentals, movies, TV shows and podcasts from your computer.
The File Sharing section contains a list of applications that support the iTunes file sharing feature in your iDevice. On the left side, click one of the applications. The files related to the selected application appear on the right side of the document list. That part of the screen isn't related to file sharing, that lists the apps that you have in the My Apps section of the iTunes library and allows you to install apps from the computer to the iPad, install app updates from the computer to the iPad, and lets you remove apps from the iPad - as it's empty I assume that you don't have any of your apps in your computer's iTunes library.
Jun 01, 2011 · ok so there are nooo comments about uploading files to iTunes or dropbox?? in the above instructions it says to “scroll all the way to the bottom until you see File Sharing” …not on my iTunes window. anybody? i sync it with dropbox and nothing happens. i find no hint as to what to do next. i wish i hadn’t recorded so much precious stuff on here. it’s very heartbreaking.
