Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Dropping Connection Question We have been running into an issues for the past couple of weeks where a good amount of our users are getting kicked of VPN a few times throughout the day.
The MX is not receiving the Client VPN connection attempt. Look at the event log page, using the filter Event type include: All Non-Meraki/Client VPN. Check whether the client's request is listed. If there is no connection attempt going through to the MX, it is possible that the Internet connection that the end user is on may have blocked VPN. I work from a home office because I travel quite a bit. Monday I was traveling so I didn't even get online at home with my work PC. Tuesday morning I fire up my work PC and open the Cisco VPN client on that PC and initiate the connection process to the VPN server. The Cisco client connects to the VPN server just fine. Newer versions all up to 4.8.02045 still fails to with the error: "The VPN client was unable to successfully verify the IP forwarding table modifications. A VPN connection will not be established.".
Please take the following steps: 1. On the main drive of the PC, choose Program Files > Cisco Systems > VPN Client > Profiles. 2. Mar 11, 2014 · I have a mapped drive gpo that is not working for Cisco AnyConnect VPN users unless I do a gpupdate /force and have them log off and then log back on again. I do not have this issue with any users that are plugged into the network and then log off and back on again. These users are mainly on Windows XP 32 bit if that helps at all.
